CES, the Consumer Electronics Show, has arrived in Las Vegas once again. Beginning January 9th, all you tech heads, entrepreneurs and future rulers of the world will descend on our fair city to inspect the latest and greatest of the electronics world. Whether you’re looking for a drone to follow you around 24-7, or still hoping for that all-glass transparent iPhone, CES is a TECHstravaganza the likes of which you’ve never seen. With nine official sites centrally located, and exhibitors and vendors at each one, you’ll surely be busy. However, studying one and zeros, and stroking the latest sustainable plastic can scare up a serious appetite for nightlife. CES is not only know for being far ahead of the curve, it’s also known for some of the best parties of the year. It’s also the unofficial launch of the Vegas party season. With that in mind, here’s a quick rundown of where to grab a cocktail and party when you’re ready to unplug for the night.

1. CES opening party at Omnia nightclub – Jan. 9th

Located in Caesar’s Palace, and known as one of the best nightclubs in the world, Omnia hosts the opening night party for CES. Kick off the week in a stunning space, with world class service, gourmet food and craft cocktails while meeting some of the most important names in the tech game. Mingle with the up and comers, and who knows, maybe you’ll bump into that venture capitalist who’ll turn your start up into the next big thing. Bring your CES badge, or invitation, and be ready to mingle. 10:00pm – 1 am

2. OMD Innovation Cocktails at Tao Nightclub in The Venetian – Jan. 10th

OMD has done it again with there early evening cocktail event of curated speakers and start-ups at Tao. Two guest speakers from Fortune magazine will introduce a select group of companies ready to disrupt a tech industry in need of innovation. Get to know the latest mobile app developers, or the cutting edge in artificial intelligence, while surrounded by Tao’s asian-inspired architecture, sipping on artisan cocktails. 4:30 – 7:30 pm

3. FutureBrand Speck “Weird Science” Cocktail Party – JAN 10th

Held at the Julius Executive Suite at Caesar’s Palace, all participants are invited to throw back so wild, scientific-based cocktails and listen to DJ KiKi after a long day of schmoozing, card-dropping and palm-pressing. FutureBrand Speck wants everyone to know how excited they are for 2018, and all the innovations they’re a part of. If you want to mingle with the certified future, get to this mixer. 7 – 11pm


Hosted by Gizmodo at the Brooklyn Bowl, here’s your chance to see one of hip hop’s biggest, and best duos around. Since their debut album dropped in 2013, Killer Mike and EI-P have always been there to raise the stakes when it comes to beats and lyrics, and if you’re going to CES this year, you’ve got chance to see them for free. Should be one of the most sought after shows in town, so leave the badges in the rooms, and get ready to get down. 10 pm – 1 am

5. Closing Night Gala with the VR/AR Love Bus (Downtown Las Vegas) – JAN. 12th

Close the week out with VR FEST’s Closing Night Gala. Sponsored by the forthcoming XR Magazine. This party, centered on the latest in virtual and augmented reality is so exclusive that we’re not even sure what’s going down – which makes us want to go even more. Incredible cocktails, great food, and DJ’s are surely going to get the party started, and I think we know what’s going to be on the VR tech in the Love Bus. It starts at 7 pm and goes until your batteries run out.
