Evel Pie Pizza @ Downtown

It’s Located in East Fremont and inspired by the reigning king of daredevil’s, Evel Knievel. Evel Pie Pizza serves up traditional pizza slices, as well as more “daring” pies for you culinary thrill-seekers. Evel Pie isn’t just a local pizza joint, it’s also a great dive bar with vintage pinball machines, a bevy of Evel Knievel memorabilia, and great drinks. And when you get hungry, you’ll chow down on the best pizza in town. The menu’s simple enough. No fancy toppings here. Just tasty, authentic ‘za with a few southwest touches. With names like Cheesy Rider, The Barry White Pie, and Balls to the Wall – 3 kinds of cheese, caramelized onions, and meatballs, you’re sure to find something that red lines your hunger. But if you really want the Evel Pie experience, get a large with rattlesnake sausage. Yes, it’s delicious. We promise.

When he’s not writing, he can be found at the nearest pool bar, staying cool and perfecting his signature cocktail, the Midnight, with the mixologists of Sin City. He’s been known to disappear for days, only to return with a must-eat culinary gem, and while he believes nobody’s perfect, he’s pretty sure we can get damn close with the right pair of sunglasses.
